The short version
I'm Siddhi, a fifth-semester B.Tech student at IIT Bhilai studying Data Science & Artificial Intelligence.
I like figuring things out - whether that's a tricky algorithm, a new piece of software, or an idea I can't stop thinking about. I'm interested in software, intelligent systems, and problem-solving, and pretty much anything that makes me curious enough to open a terminal and start messing around.
Outside of classes, you'll usually find me coding, solving problems, mentoring, or working on something creative. I'm involved in OpenLake, where I mentor in AI/ML, and have also been part of GDG and IIT Bhilai's student mentorship initiatives. I also lead UI/UX at DesignX, which gives me an excuse to care about how things look as much as how they work.
Beyond my academic and technical interests, I'm usually watching sitcoms, discovering good food, listening to music, or spending time with friends. I also play pretty much any sport I can find a reason to play - choosing just one has never really been my thing.

Cloud Task Failure Prediction
Cloud Task Failure Prediction
Evaluated multiple models on Google Cloud Trace data — Random Forest hit 93% accuracy, 0.93 F1. Deployed as a containerized FastAPI service.
Streamlit dashboard with CSV upload and a live demo mode via Redis Pub/Sub. Deployed on Render — real-time cloud monitoring, not a static notebook.
HostelDesk
HostelDesk — AI Complaint Management
An LLM pipeline auto-categorizes complaints, scores priority, and flags duplicates with contextual reasoning — cutting redundant tickets.
React + Vite, FastAPI, Supabase, deployed on Vercel and Render. Real-time notifications and community upvoting surface high-priority complaints.

Selected, out of thousands
Ranked Top 200 out of 27,000+ applicants after technical assessments, then took part in a mentorship track with engineers at Flipkart – direct exposure to how ML and platform teams operate at industry scale.
Leadership & involvement
Most of my time outside coursework and projects goes into mentoring the next batch of builders.
Contributing to open source projects and guiding sessions on AI/ML for the college community.
Collaborated on organizing technical workshops for GDG, fostering hands-on learning and community engagement.
Mentored junior students and developed the Polaris website, making updates to the data and interface.
Designed intuitive, user-friendly websites and conducted sessions on UI/UX design principles and best practices.
